Religion

When we human developed the sign of intelligence, a suffering came along with it - Curiosity. Our ancestor developed many things because of this curiosity and yeah many of them would have died in their journey to develop these things. The landmark event in the human history was the development of agriculture nearly 10,000 years ago. This development changed everything for humans, we started developing huge settlements because of this. Which ultimately brought the concept of land.

Why I mentioned curiosity as suffering?                                                                      Its because curiosity forced us to question. One who could answer these questions made us a believer in it. Now the brain which can answer question was given the duty to decide how things should be followed. How system should work and things like that. Our history tell us about great interpreter like Kautilya whose wisdom in running state still helps us. And there were people who answered the cosmological questions in their own way to satisfy the curiosity of other minds as they could interpret. People started following and worshiping these people because they had answers to their problems. Ultimately giving rise to Religion.

Each religion tackled the problem in their own way but all had the same motive to reach the truth. There are books like Veds, Bible, Guru Granth Sahib, Quran etc. which tells us what they use to believe but with time these knowledge lost it's true sense because of greed of humans which is also a cause of curiosity. People started preaching knowledge in their own ways some advancing it and some moulding it for their own good ultimately greed overshadowed the good. This lead to most inhuman things in the human population. It gave rise to inequality. I belong to a Hindu family so I would explain for my religion. The caste system was never there in the foundation of Hinduism. There was mention of Varns which tells one's duty but in course of time greed eroded this as well. Varn system was converted to Caste system and the holder of those knowledge brought injustice to a large population classifying them inferior on the basis of work. In Varn system no work is considered any less than other.

Later situation started to worsen. When land holding and superiority got connected human brain found way to feed it's animal roots. They created a system where land mattered more than the dignity of one. Most of those acts were quite known to us like Female Genital Mutilation, Self Flagellation, Baby tossing and many such evil practice in the name of religion which actually were to feed the animal they had within themselves.

But today with all these advancements in knowledge and all these technologies and with these discoveries many of things which were believed to be true in ancient times are no longer can be hold true but many moral knowledge in them still have importance and if these morals acquired by the human society, The world surely be a better place.

Today Science is also a kind of religion because it answers most of questions and makes our life easier. Now assume if some another discipline develops and change everything we assumed as wrong or an alien life comes to earth and answer the unanswered mysteries which exist in today's world, we will start follow them what they tell us. The knowledge we currently have will advance over time and truths which we hold true today will no longer be accepted.

What if we didn't take a step ahead in the matter of knowledge, What than?            Than subject science will be withdrawn, there will be issues of trust because of static nature as happened to the religion. The society will be transferred in the hand of those animal humans again.

Brilliant Minds

What comes to your mind when we speak of brilliant minds? Albert Einstein? Stephan Hawking? Vinton Cerf? Bob Kahn? There are many names to say. Did they acquire that keen mind of their or they trained them? The thing is, we cannot be sure. After all, science has its language and so makes minds. Two types of mind one innately possess extraordinary capabilities and others who train themselves and push their limits. Nevertheless, these limits can be pushed to some extent only after that saturation comes or, say, and it went out of our hands. A movie named 'A man who knew infinity is based on the life of Srinivas Ramanujan. He was good with the number and contributed a lot in the field of Mathematics. However, what intriguing was that he was not trained or lectured by anyone. Moreover, on the contrary, there was G.H hardy who identified his work and helped him contribute to humanity. I am trying to say that if one deems to a person out of the above two, who will it be? My guess is Srin

World As one

For the very first post, this topic isn't that bad I think. What I mean when I say World as one? It's simple sounding idea of creation of a universal system over world which make our world an egalitarian world. A world where we talk about about the future of human kind not the future of an individual race. Today, our world is politically divided into 195 pieces, calling individual piece a country. These pieces are interconnected in a very complex way every piece of this world get affected by the action of one, it obviously differ in intensity, duration, outcomes but this system sure impact every part of the world we can take the example of current conflict going on between Palestinians and Israelis. Whatever may be the reason of this conflicts whole world is getting affected by this, like barrier in the economic front as Israel exports high-technologies, cut diamond, etc to other parts of the world all these have to stop including the imports Israel bought affecting the econom

Were Armchair Scientist Right?

In this post, we will take a basic derivation of  Natural Selection -  a theory by  Charles Darwin.  The armchair scientist is a term used for thinkers who depend on the researches provided to them. They interpret the work of others and try to give them shape for other causes.  To start with, Charles Darwin wasn't one of them. He visited many areas and collected and sorted different types of samples. And gave a theory that changed our view of ours to see the course of evolution. He set us on the path to untangle the mystery of the diversity of life. One of the theories is Natural Selection or survival of the fittest.   This theory says an organism that adapts to the changes in the environment better will have more chances to survive and stand against the odds. This theory unravelled the mystery of evolution; at least gave a direction towards it. This answered many questions; one such was -  Is the rule of Britishers overseas justified? As a patriot, the answer is  NO! , but for a m
